Snug fit Hood =The quilted top of the bag is tailored, pleated, and fitted with a draw cord so it pulls into shape, rather like a jacket hood. Anti-snag Zip = To prevent the 2-way zip from snagging either the zip baffle or the bag edges, an "anti-snag strip" of webbing is sewn in behind the zip. (All zipped bags.) Liner Fastening and Hanging Tabs = Inner tabs are provided to keep a loose liner in position, corresponding in position with the tabs we provide on our liners. External tabs allow you to easily hang the bag for airing and drying. Circle Foot = Tapering the bag to a circle foot creates the "mummy" shape which is easy to warm and minimizes the weight of material used. Zip Baffle = Hard to see in the picture, but a zip baffle runs the full length of the bag, behind the zip,to prevent heat escaping through the zip area. Reinforced Foot = Sleep with your boots on! Made in the UK = This product is made start to finish at our factory in West Yorkshire, England. Zip Type = Full length side zip. My initial impression of the Snugpak Softie was how soft it was. The fabric felt "silky soft". The SOFTIE ELITE range of sleeping bags have been designed for movement and accomadation, with the option of using the unique baffle system, or built in expanda panel, to allow more space when required. When not required the stretchy portion zips away to make a jumbo zip baffle. All SOFTIE ELITE sleeping bags are supplied with a stuff compression sack. The bag boasts all the features of a traditional sleeping bag but the jumbo zip baffle can be opened out to give much more room within the sleeping bag. The extra space within the bag allows more air to move around keeping the bag cooler. This temperature management gives your bag much more flexibility allowing you to confidently select a product that can perform in a range of different conditions, so if the temperature drops you zip the sleeping bag tighter and instantly boost the performance. The outer of the Travelpak is Softie Premier As part of our continuing development process to keep our synthetic insulation at the leading edge we are pleased to introduce the next generation in sleeping bag technology. Softie Premier uses the same basic principles as traditional softie but improvements in extrusion technology and binding resins result in a finer, softer and more durable insulation. Both Softie and Softie Premier are exclusive to Snugpak. Paratex Lightis a lightweight highly windproof water repellent fabrics, exceptionally breathable and able to wick moisture away from source, ideal for sleeping bag linings and mid layer insulated clothing. ReflectathermReflectatherm this metallized fabric is designed to reflect heat and retain warmth. A highly breathable material, which adds little to the weight or pack size of the product and provides at least 15% additional warmth whilst being undetectable by touch in the sleeping bag or garment.
