Its high loft siliconised hollowfill insulation along with its jumbo neck baffle ensures a deep and contented sleep. The concession made here on pack size is more than compensated for in the overall performance. Ideal for camping, touring etc. and filled with a 'Insufil', a 'siliconised hollow fibre' structured to trap warm air between tiny cavities in the fibre. The inner lining of the Sleepers is 'Supersoft', a silky smooth 'Nylon fabric. The latest yarn technology has been specially woven to produce a highly durable and comfortable lining. 'Lightweight Nylon' is the outer fabric, using a combination of brilliant colors and a distinctive black ripstop. Double Offset quilted eliminates cold spots. Filling regains full loft, traps more air, retaining more body warmth. Bag can be teamed with a liner to become 4-season sleeping bag. Snug fit hood fitted with a draw cord so pulls into shape like a jacket hood minimizing heat loss. It has a compression stuff sack, Layering capability, snug fit hood and anti-snag zip. Our Sleeper range are filled with ‘Insufil' siliconised hollow fibre. The synthetic fibres are structured to trap warm air between tiny cavities in the fibre. When unpacked the 'Hollow fibres' decompress and spring back to gain maximum re-loft. Softie The brand name for the synthetic (Polyester) filling we use for the softie range of sleeping bags. Though officially described as superfine high thermal the factory nickname quickly found its way onto the bags themselves. It uses superfine yarns bound with special resins to produce a luxurious down like feel. The yarns used are staple yarns as they are natural insulations (as opposed to continuously extruded as in most synthetic fills) and a mixture of different yarn processes are applied to give a more random effect, that is some are curled, some crimped and some are just left as they are. The random nature of the process results in a product that closely resembles the structure of the natural down and the way it performs. Given all this technology softie is still easy to care for, washable, yet still retaining a lot of its thermal properties when wet.
