Why another one??? This book is not just a cookbook; it is a resource guide. It will be referred to often by anyone who cooks in a Dutch Oven and will answer questions as they arise. Section 1 teaches what a Dutch Oven is. It covers basic topics such as seasoning and maintenance, helpful tools, heat source usage and much more. Section 2 contains recipes for three levels: Beginning, Intermediate, and Advanced. Each level has recipes for breads, main dishes and desserts. The Advanced section also has tips for garnishing and cooking for crowds. Section 3 has information that up to this point has never been included in a Dutch Oven cookbook. This section describes ways to share those cooking skills - organizing a club, hosting a Cook off and basic food judging guidelines. We hope this book will help to remove the cloud of mystery that often accompanies Dutch Oven cooking. We also hope it will develop confidence and creativity in Dutch Oven cooks everywhere.
